Maria Maio, daughter of Giacobbe Maio and Rachele Surmani. She was born, in Rhodes, (Dodecanese Aegean Islands) on April 21 1925. She was arrested in Rhodes (Dodecanese Aegean Islands). She was deported to the extermination camp of Auschwitz. She did not survive the Shoah. Maria Maio, figlia di Giacobbe Maio e Rachele Surmani è nata a Rodi (Isole Egee del Dodecaneso) il 21 aprile 1925. Arrestata a Rodi (Isole Egee del Dodecaneso).
