Elia Labi, figlio di Isacco Labi e Sarina Bucabsa è nato in Libia a Bengasi il 25 maggio 1906. Coniugato con Giulia Rubin. Arrestato a Castelnovo ne' Monti (Reggio Emilia). Deportato nel campo di concentramento di Bergen Belsen. È sopravvissuto alla Shoah.
