Deportato nel campo di sterminio di Auschwitz. Non è sopravvissuto alla Shoah. Arturo Karpeles, son of Josef Sigmund Karpeles and Sabina Timberg. He was born in Poland, in Cracovia, on March 14 1924. He was arrested in Castelnuovo Garfagnana (Lucca). He was deported to the extermination camp of Auschwitz. He did not survive the Shoah.
